Melinda Means holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Taylor University. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Christian Counseling from Colorado Theological Seminary.

She is a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor (LCPC) with the National Christian Counselors Association and a Minister of the Christian faith. She is also a Certified Professional Life Coach through the Christian Coach Institute.

Melinda has worked as a staff member at her church for over 10 years in both Women’s Ministry and Community Outreach. She has spent more than 20 years as a healthcare writer and for a variety of Christian publications. She is the author of five books, including Unraveled Roots: Exposing the Hidden Causes of Damaging Behaviors; Invisible Wounds: Hope While You’re Hurting and Rewired Heart: Finding the Freedom of a Whole New You.
