Rewire My Heart specializes in Christian counseling for individuals and couples who are seeking compassionate biblical counsel as they seek to heal from a variety of life issues and trauma. Melinda has a particular interest in cognitive therapy and rewiring of the brain as part of the treatment process.

Melinda’s heart for ministering to the hurting grew from the ways God has worked in her own life as she’s fought anxiety and chronic illness, raised a special needs child, faced difficult parenting challenges and grappled with mental health issues with family members. She knows that is it possible to heal from the lies and wounds that keep us in bondage and live a life of freedom. Her heart is to walk with individuals through the challenges of life and help them discover the hope and healing that is possible through Jesus Christ.

Counseling is available at our office in Port Charlotte or via video conferencing. The fee for a 50-minute session is $80. If there is a financial hardship, please advise when inquiring. We always make an effort to work with individual budgets when possible. Prior to your first appointment, we will administer a temperament assessment (ARNO Profile System). The cost is $35 per individual.

We do not accept insurance. However, we can provide a receipt for potential reimbursement for out of network faith-based counseling services.

Payment is expected at the time of session. We accept debit, credit, check, cash or Paypal®.
